2 months agoGreat local place. Must try if you are in the area. One of the best local places and the food is great. I usually order take-out. Not much seating and not fancy but there is outdoor seating. Very casual but once again, great food.

3 months agoFantastic breakfast with biscuit sammiches bigger than your face Update: That biscuit sandich was advertised as "steak and egg", that wierd patty thing was not steak? it was actually "chicken fried steak" and I would never order that intentionally. It was edible, but I wanted an actual steak/egg biscuit. The french toast was good though.

4 months agoI found an absolute gem on the side of Rt 50. Small, cozy place. About 5 staff, lots of locals, and wonderful food. The best part, price. I say this as a NoVA native. I ate myself silly and the was only $15. Easy $30 in NoVA. I had to correct that a checkout as the place was so deserving of it. If you are ever on your way to Romney, stop by!

4 months agoThis place is the epitome of small town diner and the good Food was so amazing.... literally everything I could ask for. I had breakfast which was amazing. The Mrs had lunch and she loved it. They fried catfish! Which alot of places don't. Steak n cheese. Popcorn shrimp. I had biscuits n gravy and a sausage egg n cheese sandwich. She had a turkey club. We got mozzarella sticks and popcorn shrimp. And the prices we so cheap. We're transplanting here from Winchester and we just found our new spot. Definitely recommend

5 months agoOrdered some food while sitting at a tall table in the corner, waiter got the order and reported to the kitchen. The meal took 50~ minutes to get to the table! Servings were very generous. I got a bacon cheeseburger, best one I’ve ever had, very big and full of everything you could want. Fries were very greasy and floppy but weren’t bad at all. There were many locals, they seemed to be prioritized by I’m not sure. Anyway, good place to stop at if you’re going to look at bald eagles on the train nearby.

6 months agoWe ordered 4 burgers and a Ruben. Now we have had this before and they were great. Nice, Juicey burgers. We spent close to $100 for our order. I brought it all home and sat down to to eat and to my disappointment all the burgers were burnt to a crisp. Now I understand that some people like them that way. We do not. It was inedible. We ended up feeding to the dogs. I do apologize for the review but it was terrible for the amount of money spent.

7 months agoWe drove from Middleburg Virginia to try the food and we were amazed by the food. The biscuits were great and I had the chicken livers which were wonderful. We plan to come back as soon as we can so i can try more items. I want a grilled baloney and cheese sandwich!

a year agoDown to earth great food. The potatoes were phenomenal, and tasted even better a few days later in the air fryer. The burgers looked amazing, so wish we could go back to try them.
